Josh joined Newable Finance in February 2021 as a Senior Finance Broker. Josh specialises in helping property professionals with finding the most competitive deals for complex cases. Prior to joining Newable Josh worked in an award winning Commercial Finance Brokerage, and before this he spent 15 years in retail and commercial banking, specialising in retail and property, Josh is an avid Charlton Athletic fan, following them home and away.

Alec joined Newable Finance in November of 2021, and is the Head of the Property Finance team. Alec supports the team, and sources finance for property investors and developers who require finance for projects. Prior to Newable Finance Alex worked as a Senior Commercial Finance manager for five years. Alec holds an economics degree and is fully Cemap qualified and accredited. In Alec’s spare time, Alec likes to play football and credit, go for long walks and runs with the dog and have fun with family and friends

With over five years' experience in specialist property finance, Laurence joined Newable in 2021 as a Finance Broker within the Newable Finance team. During this time, Laurence was responsible for sourcing and processing specialist finance for a variety of direct clients and introducers, mainly focusing on bridging and development finance. However Laurence has developed his skills and now offers expertise in both commercial, portfolio buy to let mortgages and unsecured loans. In 2022 Laurence was promoted to Senior Finance Broker. Prior to Newable, Laurence worked as an Event Manager within the nightlife industry before joining First 4 Bridging as a Business Development Manager. Laurence has a BA (Hons) in Business Management and Marketing from Bournemouth University. Laurence is a self-proclaimed MasterChef and enjoys beach holidays, Guinness & many sports such as Football (Tottenham Hotspur), F1, Cricket & Golf

Steph joined Newable in November 2019 as a Business Development Manager for Newable Business Loans where she worked with external commercial finance brokers to provide unsecured loans to UK SMEs. She then joined Newable’s Brokerage, Newable Finance, in 2020. Steph’s role is to support UK SMEs and individuals to source finance solutions through our panel of lenders. Her specialisms are within both unsecured SME borrowing, and commercial and investment property finance. Steph has worked within the Financial Services industry since graduating from university with a degree in Business with Marketing. Prior to joining Newable I worked for direct lenders within the unsecured commercial lending market in both Sales and Operations roles, completing her CeMAP qualification in 2018. As well as spending time with family and friends in my spare time Steph likes to cook, travel and go for walks in the gorgeous northern countryside.

Jon joined Newable Finance in March 2021 as a Broker. Jon specialises in helping trading businesses source the finance they need for cashflow, to expand, or even to acquire a new business. Prior to joining Newable Jon worked at the Financial Ombudsman Service as a complaint’s investigator, and also spent 28 years at RBS in the commercial and corporate banking team, working in the Hospitality and leisure Sector looking after businesses with a turnover up to £100m. Jon is a big football fan, he loves to walk his dog and enjoys spending time with his children and travelling the world.

Carl joined Newable Finance in August 2021 as a Finance Broker in Healthcare. Carl specialises in assisting healthcare and trading businesses with their finance needs – mainly pharmacies and convenience stores. Carl previously worked in a brokerage for 5 years, and prior to this worked at NatWest bank for 17 years in their healthcare and commercial team. Carl is a big fan of fantasy premier league where he finished 228 out of 9.5 million players in 2021. Carl also likes anything to do with space and the universe!

Richard joined Newable Finance in March 2021 and is Head of Invoice Finance He has worked in the Invoice Finance, Asset Based Lending (ABL) and Banking sector for over 34 years including 14 years with Lloyds Banking Group, 4 years with Bibby Financial Services, 5 years with a small corporate finance business and most recently 6.5 years with Close Brothers. With a broad range of experience, Richard's focus over the last 21 years has been Invoice Finance and ABL, helping SME’s with funding solutions across the UK When he's not spending time with his family, Richard enjoys watching sport, particularly rugby, cricket and football. He also enjoys playing golf and makes an annual pilgrimage to the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland with is family to test my extremely limited skills on the St Andrews Links courses.

Jake have joined Newable Finance in December 2022 as an Unsecured Finance Broker. His main role is to fuel growth in Newable’s unsecured brokering offering, by maintaining high quality relationships with alternative lenders and to provide a hassle free service for SME’s on the hunt to grow and develop their business ventures through unsecured debt. Jake joined from one of the UKs largest unsecured finance brokerage, Think Business Loans. He spent 6 years developing and growing the necessary skills to fund a wide variety of businesses from amounts anywhere between £10k - £750k. I have helped hundreds of businesses access unsecured products such as merchant cash advances, revolving credit facilities, invoice finance, and long & short-term loans. In his spare time, Jake enjoys taking his mountain bike for a spin down the muddy hills of the Hadleigh Olympic Mountain Bike cross country park which took place two minutes away from where he currently lives. He also enjoys winding down to a game of good old-fashioned Chess, the occasional golf trip and cooking.

Stephen joined Newable Finance in October 2020 as a Senior Asset Finance Broker. Stephen supports Newable's clients who invest in equipment and vehicles for their business, utilising asset finance. Stephen joined us with 17 years' of industry experience from Capex Finance, Tower Leasing and Shire Leasing. Stephen has a 10 year old son, and spends most of his free time with his family. He is also an Aston Villa fan!

Lee joined Newable Finance in December 2020 as an Asset Finance broker. Lee sources asset finance from the whole lender market, to support businesses with their cashflow requirements. Lee joined Newable from a small medical finance brokerage specialising in finance for dentists, opticians, aestheticians and vets. Lee has 27 years' experience in Asset and Invoice Finance, and has worked for both high street banks and more specialist ones too. Lee is a member of Cambridge Rock Choir, and in his spare time he goes to gigs and plays golf!
